ClearSlide Debuts Predictive Insights Capabilities for Salesforce

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – September 15, 2015

ClearSlide, the leading platform for sales and marketing success, announced today its new ClearSlide Predictive Insights dashboards. Applying proprietary data science algorithms to ClearSlide’s unique engagement data, ClearSlide’s new predictive analytics dashboards provide unprecedented insight into the sales pipeline, giving Sales Leaders a clear and reliable understanding of all of their deals, helping them forecast accurately, take action to impact deal outcomes, and coach their sales teams to be more effective.

Sales forecasting has historically been an inexact science. Research from CSO Insights confirms that less than 50 percent of all sellers’ forecasted deals end up closing. ClearSlide Predictive Insights profiles and scores every deal in the pipeline using proven machine learning models that analyze over 150 attributes that predict successful outcomes.

ClearSlide’s platform automatically tracks how sellers are engaging with customers – the volume and cadence of meetings, what content is presented, slide-level engagement analytics, emails sent and opens rates, and more – all critical to understanding whether sellers are having genuine traction with customers. ClearSlide Predictive Insights then utilizes both Salesforce and ClearSlide engagement data to deliver a “confidence score” for current opportunities in the pipeline, providing Sales Leaders with signals to understand which forecasted deals are on track and which are at risk.

For example, if there is a CRM deal probability of 80 percent and a ClearSlide score of 25 percent, then a Sales leader can work with their team to identify the gap between actual buyer engagement and self-reported pipeline probability.
