Tip 4: Listen to the data

A good salesperson uses every tool in their toolkit to be successful. This includes taking every sales interaction as an opportunity to learn and get better. Taking the time to reflect on what the customer was interested in, where they may have lost attention, and whom information might have been shared with can help you make the right next steps to close a deal!

ClearSlide data reveals that people viewing emailed presentations spend 80% of their time on the first 5 pages, so why not leverage this to make sure you share the most important information first?! Your prospects are busy people and want to see the information they need as quickly as possible.

In virtual meetings, people have limited attention, so leverage the same tactics from sending an email presentation to ensure that your virtual audience stays engaged. Most people will multi-task and can get distracted, so make sure you present the right information first. Leverage insights from past presentations and use tools like in presentation polling or engagement tracking to help make sure you are having the right conversation with your prospects!
